quick i have some free time! who wants a ghost?

So this is what i came up with for what might be in E.G's case.

What's in the box?

Simple. Design the creature/ghost/entity that resides in the briefcase in the E.G. Brownstone, carries in the illustration that I did this past week.

It can be anything ya want, only it has to have those 3 little glowing tenticle things somewhere on it. Size don't matter. Shape don't matter.

Society of Villains

Just screwing around on a Sunday morn.   Thinking about how to design all of our artwork into a book for Con.  I think the basic idea is to try and do a case file look, with descriptions, artwork, fake mug-shots, etc.  Something that a hero like Batman would build. 

But last night I started thinking of some even grander, while still incorporating that basic idea.  I'm thinking of doing a travel-the-world case file.  As if Chris and I traveled the world searching for evil-doers and as we went we put everything into this journal. I'm going to include travel photos (say, for instance, of Italy...hmmm), mock photos of us in famous settings, myths and legends concerning the characters we find...etc.

 Sooo, here's the cover.   I'm going to start mocking up the inside. Just a couple of pages to express the idea I'm thinking about.   But all in all, just screwing around.  By no means is this supposed to be final or anything.  I'm just not busy at the moment with any assignments and I need to play.

Getting closer.  Finalized the face, the shirt.  Still need to do the legs and arms.  Chris, I tried to paint some glasses on him, but it just nerded him up too much.  He didn't look like a villain.

so in between finshing 12 pages and a few webstrips as well as some sample for a possible(fingers crossed) new mini i managed to find some time to at least add some color.

While i'm bogged down in two jobs whose deadlines decided to be on the same day, my troll king suffers in a colorless limbo. i can at least do me a cupid.

Mini-Challenge :: Cupid

Even though I'm still trying to finalize the previous challenge, I just wanted to throw out a little mini one for Valentine's Day.

So here goes:

Character: Cupid
Specs: Robot programmed to love, but due to factory defect ends up hating all.

Design this as if you were making an old 80's Nintendo videogame. Sooo, kind of like an 8-bit sprite...but with a little more detail.
